GlampLyfe Partnerships

GlampLyfe is looking for groups or individuals to team up with on a continuing basis. We want to do more than host your event at our campsite. Our favorite people are passionate, imaginative, and innovative outdoor enthusiasts. Clubs, bands, fairs, teams, and influencers are some examples of who we are looking to work with. There are no restrictions to the type of event you can host at GlampLyfe and we would love to hear your most out-of-the-box ideas.

We’re especially interested in working with local organizations or people from Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Our Happydale site in Cambridge, Ohio has comfortable amenities for day trips or overnight adventures. There are a number of A-frame cabins to stay in overnight, a trailer to hold any equipment, two lakes, a large field clearing, full bathrooms with showers, a gazebo, forest trails and more.

Bonfire Concert Series

Open Call for Musicians: In April 2022, we launched our Bonfire Concert Series. You can check out footage from our first concert with Juan Wauters band on our Instagram. Touring musicians are invited to stay with us overnight, and exchange their music for accommodations. If you feel that you or someone you know would be a fit for this partnership, please reach out with your social links and music.

If you’re interested in this program, but not a musician, we’re also open to partnering with writers, visual or performance artists, actors, dancers, and the like. Reach out with your idea — we’re happy to hear it.

Products

Supporting small businesses is important to GlampLyfe. If you are a small business, especially if you are a local small business, we would love to sell your products at our campsite. We have a designated space in our check-in trailer to sell goods like protein bars, apparel, candles, journals, water bottles, or anything else you think would fit in. If you sell furniture or interior decor, talk to us about placing your work in our cabins. We’re open to creating partnerships for holistic and natural services like Reiki Healing sessions, Massages, or Yoga and Meditation.

If you would like to actively sell your goods as a vendor and set up a table during upcoming events, please reach out to see what’s on our calendar.

Food Trucks

Our large RV parking lot is ready for food trucks or stands. Please contact us if you’re interested in parking your truck at GlampLyfe on a recurring basis or to get a list of our upcoming events. We want our campsite to be an inclusive space and any cuisine or specialty is welcome.

Anything Else

Open Call for Influencers: If you’re a Youtuber or Tiktok/Instagram Infuencer, we would love to work with you. We’re looking for influencers to stay the night at GlampLyfe in exchange for content. Please reach out if this is you or someone you know.

Thinking of something that isn’t listed here? No problem. We have group rates, day passes, and flexible options for events like corporate retreats, environmental science classes, team getaways, bachelorette weekends, festivals and anything else you may feel qualifies. Call us at (740) 801-0054.

What do the A-frames consist of?

GlampLyfe is on a mission to promote a happier and healthier LYFE™ through unique nature experiences and cutting-edge architectural design. One of the ways we’re accomplishing this is by building charming A-frame units to serve as mini cabins for our glamping guests. Our A-frames are the perfect lakeside addition to our first glamping site, Happydale Retreat, but what do they consist of? Here’s a closer look at what you can expect when staying in one of our A-frames.

Durability and convenience

Our A-frame units help protect you from the elements during hot and cold temperatures, wind, rain, and even help prevent the snow from piling up on the roof too much. While sleeping in tents during less-than-ideal weather may make you nervous, our A-frames are sturdy and will help you stay at a comfortable temperature all night long. They’re also much more convenient than having to take time to set up and tear down a regular camping tent. When tent camping or van camping, it can also be difficult to find a perfectly level spot, leaving you sleeping at an incline or weird angle. At GlampLyfe, our A-frames provide a level surface that makes sleeping more comfortable.

Rustic design

Something about an A-frame design just feels relaxing and perfect for nature. Each of our A-frame units features a rustic wooden design and uniquely crafted interior, making it perfect for glamping while keeping that “cabin by the lake” feel. We intentionally chose A-frames to create warm, inviting spaces for our guests.

Queen-size bed

Comfort is a must at GlampLyfe! We know how uncomfortable it can be to sleep in a sleeping bag, so we’ve included a queen-size bed in each of our A-frame units. Each bed also includes high-quality linens and bedding, so you don’t have to worry about bringing your own. Our A-frames are ideal for one or two people and offer a great place to get a warm, cozy, comfortable night’s sleep.

Window with a lake view

Need a break from being out in the sun or cold but don’t want to miss out on the gorgeous views? Each A-frame at Happydale Retreat includes a window that provides an unobstructed view of our private lake. Imagine waking up to the sun shimmering on calm water or falling asleep with the moon’s reflection glowing on the lake’s surface. This could be a daily occurrence for you when you stay in one of our A-frames!

Reading corner

If you like to spend time curled up with a good book, our A-frames are perfect for you. Each unit includes a cozy reading corner by the window, so you can enjoy reading (or drawing, or writing, or whatever your favorite pastime might be) without feeling like you’re entirely closed off from nature.

Front porch

Each A-frame is designed with a covered porch space that’s great for storing items you don’t want to get wet if it rains, such as coolers. It’s also an ideal spot for drinking coffee in the morning, playing cards, or just sitting and enjoying being out in nature while still having some protection from the elements.

Coffee in bed

The A-frame units at Happydale Retreat provide the perfect place for coffee in bed for those who like to start their day with a slow and relaxing morning. Simply walk on over to our coffee trailer, where you can order a hot cup of Blue Rose coffee and take it back to your A-frame. There, snuggle up in your comfy queen-size bed and sip your hot coffee while admiring the gorgeous lake view from your window.

Fire Pit

Want to warm up by the fire, do some stargazing, or toast marshmallows for s’mores? You can do so at the fire pit conveniently located right outside of your A-frame unit. The fire pit is accompanied by a set of chairs for comfortable relaxation. If you’re feeling chatty, your unit is just a brief walk from the seating area by our coffee trailer, where there are tables and another fire pit – perfect for group gatherings.

Short walk to bathrooms

Another great thing about our A-frames is that they’re close – but not too close – to the bathrooms. They’re a short walk away from our shower house, which includes private showers, real toilets, and marble sinks (this is glamping, after all!). No need to wander into the woods to use the bathroom or go days without a shower. With GlampLyfe, you can enjoy time in nature without giving up modern life’s necessities.

Close to other great amenities

Our A-frame units are close to a variety of great amenities, making them just as convenient as they are charming. When you walk from your A-frame to our coffee trailer, you can also use the BBQ grill that’s located there to cook your favorite dinner. Additionally, you can walk to the nearby nature trails and enjoy strolling by the lush foliage and breathing in the fresh air. If you want to spend the afternoon kayaking, our private lake is the perfect spot and conveniently right behind the A-frames.

5 Ingredients for That Perfect Glamplyfe Trip

Are you gearing up for your very first Glamplyfe trip? We’re looking forward to having you! Glamping is the perfect way to experience nature while still being comfortable. To help you make the most of your time with us, we’ve compiled a list of five ingredients for a perfect Glamplyfe trip. Read on, get ready, then let us know when you want to book your trip!

1. High-quality company

The first step to having an exceptional glamping trip – invite your favorite people! Whether that’s your best friends, closest family members, or significant other, spending time in nature with the people you care about is a great way to ensure a fun glamping trip. Are your loved ones outdoorsy? Entice them with nature walks and our beautiful private lake. For the indoorsy folks, let them know that Glamplyfe has private bathrooms and showers plus hot coffee so they won’t be roughing it all weekend. Our site is the perfect place to share stories and make new memories with great company.

If you’re feeling extroverted, you can chat with other outgoing campers at the tables near our coffee trailer or around a fire pit. Glamplyfe is a great place to make a new friend if that’s your thing! Feeling introverted? Need a weekend away from chatty coworkers and noisy neighbors? No judgment here! You can always have a solo trip at Glamplyfe and enjoy the soothing sounds of nature, private A-frame units, and strolls through our wooded trails. Sometimes, quiet time in the company of “me, myself, and I” is just what you need to relax and unwind.

2. Delicious food and drinks

Sizzling steaks. Gooey marshmallows. Steaming coffee. Ah, yes, glamping sure can be delicious! For a perfect Glamplyfe trip, make sure to bring your favorite foods! For your convenience, we provide BBQ grills to make meal preparation easier than cooking over an open campfire. Whether your preferred meals consist of traditional camping foods like hotdogs and baked beans or “fancier” items like steak and grilled vegetables, you can make delicious meals while glamping with us.

Glamplyfe also features fire pits, so don’t forget to bring everything you need to make s’mores! You can also bring a pot to heat up water for hot chocolate or stop by our trailer for some freshly brewed Blue Rose coffee. Having meals with the people you care about is a great opportunity for quality bonding time, and who doesn’t love good food and drinks?

3. Cozy glamping essentials

What makes glamping even better than camping? The comfort! No sleeping in sleeping bags. No setting up flimsy tents. Instead, enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep in a queen-size bed fitted with high-quality linens and bedding. You’ll stay warm and cozy in our A-frame units and won’t have to wonder if unexpected rainfall will result in a cold, soggy sleeping situation.

When thinking about what to pack, make a list of the things you need for an ultra-comfortable and glamorous stay. Think soft blankets, fuzzy slippers, a warm robe, decorative rugs, and tufted folding chairs. Comfortable? Yes. Instagramable? Absolutely. Comfort is the name of the game when glamping, so bring what you need to make your stay extra cozy.

4. Fun activities

No boring stays here! For that perfect Glamplyfe trip, plan on participating in fun activities. Our site features lush trails so you can channel your inner adventurer (without having to lace up your hiking boots or trudge through muddy ground) plus a private lake that’s great for canoeing and kayaking.

If you prefer to admire nature from afar, why not bring some games you can play at your glampsite? Card games and board games are great for playing inside your A-frame or at the tables near our coffee trailer. You can also bring yard games like corn hole and bocce ball so you can enjoy the fresh air while taking on the competition.

If your ideal glamping trip is a calm one, consider bringing a book to read by the fire or cozied up in your A-frame overlooking the water. Load your favorite music, audiobooks, or podcasts onto your phone to enjoy with headphones while relaxing in bed. Whatever suits your mood, activities can make your Glamplyfe trip even better.

5. A cleared schedule

Glamping is an ideal time to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy reconnecting with yourself, your friends and family, and nature. For the perfect Glamplyfe trip, be sure to arrive with a cleared schedule. Whether you’re staying for a weekend or a week, try to clear your schedule ahead of time so you can focus on being present and enjoying the moment. If you’re able to, tell your employer, coworkers, or clients that you’ll be on a trip and unavailable to work. Your glamping trip will be so much better if you aren’t preoccupied with answering phone calls or checking emails. By removing distractions, you can clear your mind, enjoy the here and now, and leave your Glamplyfe trip feeling refreshed.

5 Must-Have Staples When Glamping

What comes to mind when you think of glamping? Extravagant tents? Twinkling lights? The best food you’ve ever had in your life? While the ideal glamping trip is different for everyone, there are a few things we think are crucial for the best possible glamping experience. Here are five must-have staples when glamping.

1. Fire pits and grills

What’s camping without delicious meals cooked over a fire? With glamping, you can enjoy food cooked outside without having to be an expert at building campfires. When glamping, look for a site that offers fire pits and grills to make cooking meals easier. At Glamplyfe, for example, we offer a BBQ grill for preparing food as well as fire pits for roasting s’mores.

Not sure if your glampsite will have fire pits or grills? There are a variety of portable appliances you can bring with you for cooking, such as a portable grill or travel stove. However, finding a site that already has the right cooking essentials on hand is more convenient and saves you from having to haul too many things on your trip. Plus, when you’re not cooking, fire pits are excellent places to stay warm on chilly nights while you chat with friends or do some stargazing.

2. Coffee

If you can’t start your day without a hot cup of coffee, you shouldn’t have to go without while glamping. Glamping, after all, is about camping without giving up your favorite creature comforts! The best way to ensure you always have access to fresh coffee is to find a glampsite that prepares coffee for you. At Glamplyfe, we have a charming trailer serving Blue Rose Coffee so you can have a little pick-me-up whenever you need one. Outside of the trailer we also have plenty of seating so you can sit and relax while enjoying your beverage.

If you go to a glamping site that doesn’t serve coffee, you can bring your coffee and a French press or pour-over coffee maker plus a pot for heating water over the fire or on a travel stove. If that sounds like more effort than you want to deal with while glamping, definitely book a site that will make coffee for you.

3. Bathrooms

When camping, your bathroom options are often limited. If you’re at a primitive site, nature is your bathroom unless you bring your portable toilet. Other campsites may offer pit latrines, outhouses, or porta-potties, but these may be small, dirty, and smelly. Want to take a shower? You may have to settle for using baby wipes and dry shampoo due to a lack of running water. None of these options are appealing if you ask us.

When glamping, a real bathroom is a must! At Glamplyfe, we have a shower house for our guests, which features multiple individual bathrooms. Each bathroom contains a flushable toilet, private shower, and marble sink. If you’re choosing glamping over camping, you shouldn’t have to wonder where to go to the bathroom or spend your time smelly and unshowered. Our shower house helps you feel fresh and clean every day for a positive glamping experience.

4. Comfortable place to sleep

A great night’s sleep can help you start the day feeling refreshed and energized. However, when you’re camping, you’ll likely have to sleep in a sleeping bag and may not have much more than a thin sleeping bag pad preventing you from feeling the bumpy earth below you. Depending on the weather and type of sleeping bag you have, you may also feel too hot or too cold.

When glamping, a comfortable place to sleep is a must-have! When choosing a glampsite, look for one that, at the very least, offers a cot and/or mattress to sleep on so you’re not sleeping directly on the ground. At Glamplyfe, we take it a step further and provide guests with a queen-size bed plus high-quality bedding and linens for a comfortable sleeping experience. We also provide wooden A-frame units to sleep in rather than flimsy tents, so you can feel confident that you’ll stay warm and dry during inclement weather or chilly nights.

5. Gorgeous scenery

Whether you’re camping or glamping, spending time in nature is a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the atmosphere we were meant to be in. Whether your trip is for a brief weekend or an entire week, get the most out of your time away by booking a site with gorgeous scenery. Look for a location with green grass and trees, a body of water, colorful flowers, views of the sky, the cheerful sound of birds chirping, and more.

At Glamplyfe, our Happydale Retreat in Cambridge, Ohio is nestled in the pristine trees and hills of the Appalachian Mountains. Our A-frame units rest adjacent to our private lake so guests can begin each day with a view of the sun reflecting on the water. Surrounding the site are leafy trees and lush trails perfect for walking through nature without worrying about getting lost. You’ll enjoy clean, fresh air without having to travel far from city life.

Level up your next camping trip with Glamplyfe

If the idea of roughing it is keeping you from going camping, go glamping instead! It’s an excellent way to enjoy all that nature has to offer without giving up creature comforts like running water, bathrooms, comfy beds, or your morning cup of freshly brewed coffee.

We offer unique nature experiences, cutting-edge architectural design, and the creature comforts you can’t live without. We’re excited for you to get to know us! Here’s a closer look at who we are and what we offer.

Meet Glamplyfe

Glamplyfe is a luxurious lifestyle company located just outside of Columbus, Ohio. We’re on a mission to promote a happier and healthier LYFE™ through unique nature experiences and cutting-edge architectural design. Our first project is a campsite – or should we say glampsite – in Cambridge, Ohio featuring A-frame units that are perfect for one or two people looking to experience the joys of glamping. We’re passionate about spending time outdoors and love encouraging others to do the same without the intimidation of staying at primitive sites.  As we continue to grow, we aim to make glamping a possibility for more people in more states and help others live happier and healthier.

Camping with a hint of glam

What is glamping? Glamping is a way to spend time in nature without “roughing it.” That means you still get to enjoy modern luxuries like beds, showers, toilets, and more. No using a tree as a bathroom. No sleeping on a cold, bumpy ground. This is a more glamorous version of camping, and we know you’re going to love it!

Our first Glamplyfe site, Happydale Retreat, is located about an hour outside of Columbus in Cambridge, Ohio – far enough away to feel like you’re escaping the hustle and bustle, but close enough to the city that you don’t have to spend too much time in the car. It’s tucked away in the hills of the Appalachian Mountains for gorgeous scenery and the fresh air you crave.

Happydale Retreat will feature 10 A-frame units that can accommodate up to two people, making them perfect for date night, a weekend trip with your best friend, or even some quiet time to yourself. Our units are warm, inviting spaces featuring uniquely crafted interiors and rustic wooden designs. When you’re not sleeping or doing outdoor activities, you can curl up in the comfy reading corner by the window and enjoy an unobstructed view of the lake. Each A-frame is also equipped with a comfy queen-size bed and high-quality bedding for a restful night’s sleep.

Need to wash up? We have a shower house that includes a private shower, toilet, and marble sink so you can start or end each day feeling clean and refreshed.

Enjoy the great outdoors

Feeling adventurous? Lace up your hiking shoes! Our site is surrounded by lush trails so you can spend the day exploring the area and getting quality time in nature. We also have a private lake that’s perfect for canoeing, kayaking, and swimming.

If relaxing by the fire is more your thing, you can gather around the fire pit and enjoy the view of the lake, do some stargazing, and roast up some delicious s’mores. Our property also includes a charming trailer where you can sip a hot cup of Blue Rose Coffee or prepare your food on the BBQ grill.

Whether you want a weekend of relaxation, a vacation full of activities, or something in between, you’ll find what you’re looking for with Glamplyfe.

When should you go glamping?

Glamping with Glamplyfe is perfect for any occasion! Want a calm weekend away?
